Event Description:

The service request concerns Andalusia, a vast Spanish region spanning over 87,500 km² in Europe. Andalusia faces a multitude of natural and man-made hazards, including seismic events, tsunamis, floods, forest fires, and anthropogenic risks. It consists of eight provinces and 785 municipalities, boasting a coastline stretching nearly 1,000 kilometers, comprising both Mediterranean and Atlantic shores. Approximately 49% of Andalusia is covered by forested terrain. The activation requirements focus on developing a detailed asset map for the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, employing comprehensive wall-to-wall mapping techniques and expressing values in EURO/m².

The Assets Mapping provides an overview of the comprehensive asset inventory for the Andalusia region of Spain. The inventory comprises detailed information on a wide range of asset categories, including residential, industrial, services and trade, agriculture, livestock, infrastructure, and others. The data is gathered from the most up-to-date sources available and includes specific details such as area measurements, price per square meter, and total value. The economic valuation methodology considers both construction expenses and, where applicable, the worth of contents. Additionally, the valuation incorporates vehicle prices related to assets like roads and highways, while residential assets also encompass population density values. The product extends across various applications, with its most considerable potential in disaster management. Utilizing the inventory, one can strategically prepare for and respond adeptly to natural disasters by gaining a comprehensive understanding of the precise locations and values of assets.
