A whistleblower trapped inside a βpig butcheringβ scam compound gave WIRED a vast trove of its internal materialsβincluding 4,200 pages of messages that lay out its operations in unprecedented detail.
The agency says it found a network of some 300 servers and 100,000 SIM cardsβenough to knock out cell service in the NYC area. Experts say it mirrors facilities typically used for cybercrime.
